A man and a woman were in custody after leading authorities on a chase that topped 105 miles per hour and ended with arrests in the City of Industry, police said Thursday.

At 8:28 p.m., officers tried to pull over an Acura with out-of-date registration stickers on the eastbound 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park, but the suspects failed to stop, said Officer Alex Rubio of the California Highway Patrol.

The suspects continued on, moving to the 57 Freeway and 60 Freeway, Rubio said.

Officers briefly lost visual of the suspects, but witnesses reported spotting them behind a Chevrolet dealership at Gale and Azusa avenues in Industry, said CHP Officer Richard McAllister.

The suspects had abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot, he said.

They were taken into custody by the dealership, McAllister said.

It’s not known whether the male or female suspect was behind the wheel.

It’s also unclear why the suspects, who have not been identified, initially evaded police.
