A vehicle overturned in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday morning, severely injuring the passenger and prompting the driver’s arrest on suspicion of DUI, police said.
The accident occurred in the 1200 block of East Sixth Street around 3 a.m., said Los Angeles Police Sgt. J. Garcia. Both the passenger and driver are females.
East Sixth was ordered closed in both directions for 1-2 hours, Garcia said.
