A woman fatally shot herself in the driveway of a Burbank home on Tuesday, police said.
Officers were called about 7:55 a.m. to the 800 block of Reese Place, where they found the victim with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, said Burbank police spokesman Officer Joshua Kendrick.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
“This appears to be an isolated incident and there is not threat to any other community members,” Kendrick said.
The woman’s name was withheld pending coroner’s notifications, he said.
