A 52-year-old man who had been reported missing out of Manhattan Beach was located Friday and is in good condition, police said.
Stephen Preiss was reported missing on Thursday after last being heard from by his landlord on Monday, according to Manhattan Beach police.
“A search of his residence … revealed that he left a note behind with instructions on the care of his property. A bicycle of his was missing, as well,” a police statement said.
He turned up at a friend’s house in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach police Detective Mike Rosenberger said.
