A man, in his early to mid-40s, was found dead saturday, apparently hanging himself with a belt from the Gage Avenue bridge, at the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Bell.
The man’s body was discovered by a pedestrian who was happened to be walking over the bridge about 7:55 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, said Bell Police officer Terry Dixon.
“We don’t have a reason for it (suicide),” Dixon said.
