Lady Justice 4 16-9

A Glendora man who used a library computer to view semi-nude photos of young girls was sentenced Wednesday to 13 years and four months in state prison.

Kirk Brian Eggleston, 48, was found guilty in October of one count each of possession of child pornography after a prior conviction and attempted child pornography after a prior conviction.

Eggleston was previously convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 in 2003, child molestation in 2004 and indecent exposure in 2006.

Eggleston sat down Feb. 9 at a computer at the Glendora Public Library and viewed images of young girls in underwear and bathing suits. Library employees called police after seeing Eggleston looking at images of semi-nude young girls.

An investigation into Eggleston’s practices at the library and at home yielded hundreds of images of young girls after examining search terms he used while on the library’s computers and on his sister’s home computer.
