A man suffered serious injuries during a kitchen fire Saturday at an apartment building in the Rancho Park section of Los Angeles.
Firefighters were dispatched to 1946 S. Overland Ave. at 9:51 a.m. They quickly put out the fire inside one unit of the three-story structure, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
Paramedics rushed a man from the scene in serious condition with burns to an area hospital, Main said.
