Police on Sunday sought the public’s help in locating a 70-year-old man last seen on Skid Row, who suffers from dementia and is not familiar with the downtown area.
Federico Nabarro Mejia was last seen about 11 a.m. Saturday walking from the 600 block of Maple Street toward a store located on the corner of Seventh and San Pedro streets, according to Los Angeles police.
Mejia was described as a 5 foot-3 inch-tall Latino man weighing 115 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes and a beard. He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, gray slacks, brown boots and a cowboy hat.
LAPD Central station detectives asked anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts to call them at (213) 833-3750.
