Police sought the public’s help Monday in finding the hit-and-run driver responsible for critically injuring a pedestrian in South Los Angeles.
A witness told police a black 2000 Chevrolet Camaro struck a man about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of South Broadway.
The driver stopped briefly to check on the victim, then sped off, police said. He was described as a black man in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches and 220 pounds.
