Two men were stabbed in East Los Angeles, both in the upper torso, by two other men, authorities said.
It happened about 10:45 p.m. Sunday near Olympic and Atlantic boulevards, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Lt. Roberto Medrano said.
“The victims flagged down deputies and said they were walking in the area and got into a physical altercation with the suspects and were stabbed,” Medrano told City News Service.
The victims told deputies they did not know their attackers, he said.
The suspects fled the scene.
The men were transported to a hospital for treatment of their wounds which were “apparently not life-threatening,” Medrano said.
