Authorities on Friday released the name of a 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed in South Los Angeles.
Kalease Harris was shot about 5 p.m. Thursday in the area of 104th Street and Avalon Boulevard and was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to Los Angeles police and the coroner’s office.
Officer Sara Faden of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section said multiple suspects were spotted leaving the area in a blue Toyota sedan, but it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
No arrests have been reported.
