A man was shot and killed in Maywood Friday afternoon.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were sent to the scene of the shooting, which was reported at 3:09 p.m. in the 6000 block of King Avenue, said Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” the deputy said.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
