A 24-year-old Rialto man taken into custody in West Covina on Sunday for a probation violation was found to have 28 grams of methamphetamine in his buttocks, according to a newspaper website report.
Jimmy Ontiveros was arrested after officers stopped a 2004 Dodge Intrepid in which he was a passenger about 9 a.m. at the intersection of Cameron and California avenues, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Officers learned he was in violation of his probation and while being booked he was found to have a small amount of methamphetamine in his sock, West Covina police Lt. Dennis Patton told the newspaper.
Another 28 grams of the drug was then found between Ontiveros’ buttocks, Patton said.
Ontiveros was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics in a custodial environment (the police station) and for the probation violation, the lieutenant told The Tribune.
The driver of the vehicle was cited for an unspecified violation and released, the newspaper reported.
