One of two young men killed on Sunday when A 2002 Chevrolet Camaro went about 50 feet down an embankment was identified Monday.
The crash at Sierra Highway and Soledad Canyon Road was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 4:03 a.m.
The vehicle was being driven south on Sierra Highway when it went off the road and down an embankment, according to the CHP.
The passenger was identified as Justin Nichols, 20, of Acton, who died at the scene, said assistant coroner chief Ed Winter.
The driver has not been identified yet, Winter said. It might take a while because the body was badly burned.
