Authorities on Tuesday identified a woman who was killed in a double stabbing in the Harvard Heights section of Los Angeles that left her husband hospitalized with multiple wounds.
Police were called to the home in the 1700 block of South Hobart Boulevard at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, said Los Angeles police homicide Lt. John Radtke.
“They found a woman with fatal stab wounds blocking the inside doorway of her residence,” Radtke said. “Officers cleared the residence and found a man with serious stab wounds lying in the bedroom.”
Coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter identified the woman as Emma Serin- Paul, 45. Her husband’s name was not released.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbings remain under investigation, with no arrests made and no suspect description released.
