Authorities on Friday released the name of a 35-year-old man who died, possibly after being struck by a vehicle, on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Lancaster.
His name was Jeffrey Jackson, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, which listed no hometown for the man.
The victim’s body was found beneath a freeway overpass near the 1500 block of Avenue K around 4:20 a.m. Thursday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Margarita Velazquez said.
A report on the California Highway Patrol online incident log reported a pedestrian being struck on the freeway in the same area.
