A high-speed pursuit through the Antelope Valley ended with a driver in custody early Wednesday, authorities said.

The 25-minute pursuit reached speeds of 85 miles-per-hour on the northbound lanes of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and Pearlblossom (SR 138) Highway, California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos said.

The chase continued on surface streets in Palmdale and ended without incident near Adela Court around 1:20 a.m., Villalobos said.

No one was hurt in the pursuit.

The female driver was taken into custody, a news videographer reported from the scene.

The driver came to the attention of CHP officers because she was speeding and weaving in freeway lanes, Villalobos said.
