Pasadena firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze Tuesday that began as an electrical fire on a balcony, then got in the walls of an apartment unit and did about $2,000 worth of damage.
The fire in the 300 block of East Washington Boulevard was out in about 15 minutes, said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.
No one was injured and the occupant was at work when the fire occurred, Derderian said.
Firefighters were called to the scene about 4:30 p.m., Derderian said.
