An 11-year-old South Gate girl who disappeared earlier this week was back with her family, authorities said.

Heisslyn Daniela Vasquez, who had last been seen about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and who was reported missing around 11 p.m. that night, returned home to her family around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, said South Gate Police Sgt. Heriberto Gutierrez.

Gutierrez said the girl told her family she spent the night at Roosevelt Park in nearby Florence-Firestone.

“She was in good health and showed no signs of foul play,” Gutierrez said. “She’s back with her family, nice and safe.”
