A 16-year-old Las Vegas youth received a non-life-threatening wound to his leg, and walked into the Pomona Valley Medical Center a short time later, according to a police statement.
Preliminary information indicated the victims were in the park barbecuing when four male suspects stopped their vehicle and fired at the crowd indiscriminately, police said. The motive for the shooting may be gang-related but that has not been confirmed.
The suspects fled northbound in a gray or silver four-door sedan, police said.
Police asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at (909) 620-2085, or if they wish to remain anonymous they can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477.)
