Lady Justice 16-9

A man who allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend and stabbed her mother and grandmother in Burbank was charged Friday with two counts of attempted murder.

Cameron Reed Hansen, 29, of Valencia, pleaded not guilty to the charges, along with a single count of injuring a girlfriend, according to the District Attorney’s Office. He is due back in court April 9.

According to police and prosecutors, Hansen allegedly attacked his ex- girlfriend around 11 p.m. Tuesday at her home in the 700 block of Roselli Street and bit her. When the other two women came to her aid, Hansen allegedly stabbed both of them multiple times.

Hansen was arrested early the next morning.

Lance Jaquette told the Burbank Leader that his 21-year-old sister had just ended a two-year relationship with Hansen.

Jaquette told the newspaper that Hansen, who worked as a background actor for Central Casting, came to the victims’ home and got into a “heated argument” with his sister.

Although prosecutors described the other victims as the ex-girlfriend’s mother and “roommate,” Jaquette told the newspaper the other woman was his grandmother.

He said his sister suffered a head wound, while his mother had 18 stab wounds and a collapsed lung, and his grandmother was stabbed six times.

Hansen was arrested when he returned to the neighborhood, possibly to retrieve his vehicle, police said.

He is being held on more than $2 million bail. He faces up to life in prison if convicted, prosecutors said.
