Authorities Tuesday identified a man who was killed in an apparent gang-related shooting in South Los Angeles.
The man was driving at 105th and San Pedro streets about 5 p.m. Monday when someone walked up to his vehicle and shot him numerous times, said Sgt. Eric Rogers of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
William Brown, 28, of Los Angeles died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The suspect fled and was being sought.
