An inmate at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles was involved in a fight with other inmates and died at a hospital, authorities said Wednesday.
Homicide detectives were sent to the facility in the 400 block of Bauchet Street at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, the sheriff’s department reported.
The name of the victim was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
