A man was found dead hanging from a lamp post Sunday in the Bassett area of unincorporated Los Angeles County, near the City of Industry.
Paramedics arriving at the scene near East Temple and Vineland avenues pronounced the victim, a man in his 50s, dead at the scene at 12:18 a.m, a watch commander at the sheriff’s Industry station said.
“Somebody called and said there was a ladder leaning against the lamp post and a man swinging,” she said.
