Gomez was driving a silver Dodge Ram pickup near Inglewood and Jefferson boulevards when he was shot, police said.

“The victim kept driving after he was shot and made it to Slauson and Braddock where he finally died,” LAPD Officer Mike Lopez said. The attack may have been be gang-related, Lopez said.

Police have no description of the shooter or the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call West Bureau homicide detectives at (213) 382-9470, or (877) LAPD-247.
