A motorcyclist collided with a vehicle Tuesday in Hawthorne and died at a hospital, police reported.
The rider was southbound on Prairie Avenue near 141st Street about 11:45 a.m. when the two-wheeler collided with a vehicle that pulled out of a parking lot, the Hawthorne Police Department reported.
Paramedics took the as-yet unidentified man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The motorist, who was unhurt, remained at the scene and was interviewed by officers.
