A man and a woman were killed Wednesday in a two vehicle collision in the Santa Clarita area.
The crash was reported about 8:45 a.m. in the 13100 block of Soledad Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics pronounced one of the drivers dead at the scene, the CHP reported. A woman riding in his vehicle was taken to a hospital, where she died, the CHP reported.
The man was in his 30s and the woman was in her 20s, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Their names were withheld pending notification of their relatives.
It was unclear if the other motorist was injured. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
