Deputies Thursday arrested a man at Carson-area business that housed an illegal marijuana-growing operation.
Investigators sent to the car-customizing business in the 22600 block of Normandie Avenue about 5 a.m. found nearly 350 marijuana plants in varying stages of growth, said Detective Mark Pope of the sheriff’s Carson Station.
The street value of the marijuana was about $200,000, Pope said.
The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was booked on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana, and was held on $50,000 bail.
