“What were you thinking?”
That’s the question from Alhambra Police, to a woman who stole a cellphone Saturday from a coffee shop where she is well known to the baristas.
The incident was also recorded on the obvious video cameras throughout the Starbucks, at First and Main streets in downtown Alhambra.
“A woman who frequents Starbucks decided to take a Smart phone from a table and ran off,” the department said in a news statement. “Not only is she known (by workers), the crime was captured on video.
“Well, we know her, too,” the department said.
The victim, with police present, made a citizen’s arrest for theft.
The phone was still missing, police said.
