A tour bus collided with another vehicle on the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway near Grifffith Park, sending one person to a hospital.

The crash was reported at 6:14 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Drive, California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said.

Firefighters responded and took one person to a hospital, Shawn Lenske of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

That patient’s condition was not made available.

A news videographer at the scene said there were no injuries aboard the bus, which was carrying dozens of passengers.

The tour bus was blocking the carpool lane, a fire truck was blocking the far left main lane and a SigAlert issued at 7 p.m. was expected to be in effect for an hour, Kimball said.
