A man in his 20s was wounded in an early Monday morning shooting in the Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles, police said.
The shooting was reported in the 2600 block of Medford Street about 3:30 a.m., said Los Angeles Police Sgt. R. Barrigan. The victim was shot in the face but was conscious when transported to USC Medical Center, he said.
Police said there was one shooter. But no description of that suspect was immediately available.
