A man in his 30s was found shot dead in an alley, in the Jefferson Park section of Los Angeles, a police officer said Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at Eighth Avenue and West Jefferson Boulevard at 6:47 p.m. Saturday on a call of a man down in the alley, said Los Angeles police officer Sara Faden of the Media Relations Section.
Arriving paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, Faden said.
There was no other immediate information.
