Two people were killed and another person suffered major injuries Sunday in a two-vehicle collision in La Puente.
The crash at North Puente Avenue and Amar Road occurred a little after 3:20 a.m, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics rushed a woman to an area trauma center with major injuries, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The crash involved a white Honda Civic that reportedly collided with a junk hauling truck, witnesses said.
