Investigators went to the 600 block of West 11th Street about 7 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The man, in his 50s, was found dead at the scene, said coroner’s Chief Craig Harvey. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting Azusa police in the investigation.
