Sunset Boulevard in Brentwood was closed in both directions Tuesday in the wake of a two-vehicle, multi-injury crash.
The accident was reported at 3:48 p.m. near Sunset Boulevard and Mandeville Canyon Road according to Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Five patients, three of them in critical condition, were taken to hospitals from the scene of a collision, Humphrey said.
The injured include two adults and two children.
