A Metro Blue line train collided with a car in downtown Los Angeles late Thursday afternoon, causing minor damage to both and causing delays on two Metro lines.
The crash happened about 3:50 p.m. in the area of 18th and Flower streets, when the car turned left in front of the train, said Metro spokeswoman Anna Chen.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured, but the damage to both the train and car were minor, Chen said.
Service was delayed from about 20 minutes on both the Metro Blue and Expo lines as both share the same track in that area, she said.
