A 6-inch cast iron water main break Saturday in the Beverlywood area of Los Angeles has left about 50 customers without water service.
The break occurred at 2:05 a.m. and water service in the area of 1949 S. Corning St. was shut off at 3 a.m., said Albert Rodriguez of the Department of Water and Power.
The break caused moderate street damage. Crews were at the scene repairing the break. Water service is expected to be restored by 2 p.m., Rodriguez said.
