Firefighters Wednesday extinguished a two-acre brush fire in the Elysian Park area, and no one was hurt.
The fire was reported near the 1300 block of North Broadway about 8:50 a.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Three helicopters were sent to the site, along with about 80 firefighters, Humphrey said. The flames were extinguished in about a half hour.
No structures were threatened, and winds were “minimal,” Humphrey said.
