A 60-year-old motorist was fatally injured Monday in a collision with a big rig, Pomona police reported.
Police called to Pomona Boulevard just west of Temple Avenue at 1:36 p.m. determined that a vehicle had crashed at slow speed into a stopped big rig truck in a parking lot.
The driver — a Glendora woman whose name was not immediately released — was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The collision was being investigated by Pomona police in conjunction with the coroner’s office.
