Sheriff’s detectives from the Compton Station Thursday were investigating the stabbing death of a woman.
Erica Estrada, 25, of Montclair died at a hospital about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were notified, Winter said.
“The exact location of where the incident occurred has yet to be determined,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
