At least one person was hospitalized after a collision between a television news van and a pickup truck on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Echo Park.
The collision between the van belonging to KTLA-TV Channel 5 and a pickup truck occurred near the Glendale Boulevard off-ramp around 10:50 p.m., Thursday, California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
A woman calling from the van had reported multiple injuries soon after the collision, according to the CHP.
The caller said the pickup truck had spun out and collided with the news van, according to the CHP.
At least one person was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries as a result of the collision, Villalobos said.
