One man was killed in a shooting in North Hollywood Saturday and another man was arrested nearby, police said.
The shooting was being investigated as possibly gang-related, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was reported about 1:40 p.m. in the 6500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said.
A firearm was recovered, Lopez said.
The victim is about 35 years old, police said.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not immediately disclosed.
A witness told a reporter at the scene that the victim’s body was at the Plaza Hand Car Wash in the 6400 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
