An armed man took an undetermined amount of cash and a victim’s blue backpack during a robbery in the wee hours Sunday at a cafe in Arcadia.
Officers were dispatched to the robbery at the Garden Cafe, 850 S. Baldwin Ave., about 2:45 a.m., said Arcadia police Sgt. James Trabbie.
The suspect, armed with a handgun, ran south on Baldwin Avenue, Trabbie said.
He was described as a 6-foot male Black or Latino man between 25 to 35 years old, wearing a mask or a bandana, a blue or gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans, he said.
Arcadia police asked anyone with any information regarding the robbery to call them at (626) 574-5151.
