Two men were wounded Monday as they stood in front of a home in the Florence area of unincorporated Los Angeles County, authorities reported.
The shooting happened in front of a home at 7012 Converse Ave. at 2:29 a.m., said Lt. Joseph Williams of the Sheriff’s Century Station.
Suspects approached the two victims, Williams said.
“They were wearing masks. They walked up on foot. We don’t know why the victims were targeted,” he said.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a 21-year-old man was shot in the left ankle, he said. Both were transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where their vital signs were stable.
