A man was killed this afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving a big rig on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena.
The crash was reported about 2:45 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway at Lincoln Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was about 30 years old, he said.
It was unclear if the rainy weather played a role in the crash, which closed the number five westbound lane and prompted the CHP to issue a SigAlert.
