A man was shot and killed on the street in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles early Saturday.
The 40- to 50-year-old victim was shot several times near the intersection of South Western Avenue and West 52nd Street at approximately 12:10 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Rudy Alaniz said.
There was no suspect description, nor details of the circumstances of the shooting, Alaniz said.
The case remains under investigation.
