Two male robbers, one armed with a handgun and the other with a machete, robbed three people inside a motel room in Canoga Park, a police spokeswoman said Monday.

The robbery took place at about midnight on Sunday at the Paradise Lodge Hotel, 20128 Roscoe Blvd., according to Los Angeles Police spokeswoman Officer Jane Kim.

“The robbers knocked on the door of one of the rooms, and when the victims opened the door, the two armed men demanded their property,” Kim said.

The victims handed over their property and the men fled the scene, Kim added.

No one was injured and it was unclear what exactly the men stole, she said.

No suspect description was immediately available.
