Three 19-year-old men were shot, one fatally, in an apparent gang-related attack Tuesday morning in Pomona, police said.
The shooting in the parking lot of a trailer park in the 1000 block of East Mission Boulevard was reported about 7:30 a.m., according to the Pomona Police Department.
The victims were shot as they sat in a vehicle. One of them died at a hospital, and the other two were seriously wounded but are expected to survive, authorities said.
The fatally wounded man’s name was withheld pending family notification.
The two who survived — one is a Pomona resident and the other is from El Monte — were taken to a hospital in a private cars, police said. Their names were not released.
