The body of the man, in his 20s, was discovered about 6:15 a.m. near Westhaven Street and La Brea Avenue, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.
The cause of death was not immediately known.
Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives.
