A man was stabbed Tuesday morning on a North Hollywood street, police said.
The stabbing in the 7800 block of Lankershim Boulevard near Arminta Street occurred around 3:30 a.m., said Sgt. Frank Alferez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Station.
Police got limited information from the victim, Alferez said.
“He was walking down Lankershim and a male suspect approached, they got into a dispute then the suspect punched him and he punched the suspect and the suspect produced a knife and stabbed him.”
The sergeant said the man’s wounds were not life-threatening. The victim was transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where his vital signs were reported as stable.
